Day trip to Bandarban from Sylhet

Visit the heavenly place Bandarban:

Bandarban is a district in Bangladesh’s south-eastern Chittagong Division. It is one of Bangladesh’s three hill districts and a part of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, along with Rangamati District and Khagrachhari District.

Bandarban is the hometown of the current Bohmong Chief (King, or Raja, U Cho Prue Marma) who is the head of the Bohomong Circle.

Bandarban is as one of the most attractive and exotic travel destinations in Bangladesh as this place allows you to enjoy yourself at the peak of the mountain in between the fluffy clouds.

It takes only three hours to reach Bandarban from Chattogram. If someone starts their ride from Chattogram early in the morning at around 7:00 AM, then will hopefully reach there by 10am. So it will be an ideal pick for you to go to Bandarban for a day trip from Chattogram.

Places to visit in Bandarban:

The Chimbuk Hill provides a spectacular view of the surrounding mountain landscape, which is lush with greenery and chilled by a cool breeze. Chimbuk Hill allows tourists a hilltop view from above, among the floating clouds which melts people’s heart with joy.

On a sunny day Chimbuk Hill reveals a different view to the tourists amid the vast horizon of hills formed in the rhythm of a massive wave. It is a breath-taking sight to behold and experience. Chimbuk hill is also known as Bangladesh’s Darjeeling for its view.

Shoilo Propat Waterfall:

Shoilopropat is only about 4-5 kilometers from Bandarban. This is just off the road and is a popular tourist destination for Bandarban visitors (especially who are doing family trip). There are several local shops nearby where you can purchase local crafts such as shawls, wooden crafts, and many other items.

Shoilopropat is known for its small water stream surrounded by hills and forest. While visiting Shoilopropat, be cautious as the rocky areas are mostly slippery. If you are not careful, you might slide and cause an accident (especially during rainy season). Make sure not to stay bare foot while walking over the rocks.
