Lawachara National Park Rain Forest

A visit to Lawachara National Park Rain Forest:
A significant national park and wildlife park in Bangladesh is called Lawachara National Park. Lawachara National Park is the ideal location to go if you want to experience a mysterious rainforest. There are many opportunities for jungle walking and trekking in the well-maintained forest.

You can observe the more than 460 different bird, mammal, and reptile species that call this forest home. They consist of deer, wild pigs, chickens, squirrels, pythons, hoolock gibbons, slow loris birds, capped langurs, snakes, banana spiders, etc. You could perhaps relish trekking, walking, and taking a walk to dip yourself in essence and get near to wildlife by using the many routes in the forest.

Travel Information:
The train is the best way to start your journey. Well, Kalni Express Train from Dhaka to Kamalapur or just from Airport Railway Station to Srimangal, Moulvibazar Railway Station. Buses are also available by non-AC bus to Srimangal, Moulvibazar from Dhaka to Fakirapul or from Saidabad to Hanif Enterprise, Shyamoli Paribahan, Sylhet Express, ENA, etc.

From Chittagong, you can travel to Srimangal by either train or bus. Six days a week, two train services, the Paharika and Udayan Express travel from Chittagong to Moulvibazar and Srimangal, respectively. It’s 30 kilometers which separates the town of Moulvibazar district from the Lawachara Rain Forest.
