The main shows of Ratargul Swamp Forest: I was astounded by the sheer number of trees; I merely caught the whole Ratargul Forest. The abundance of trees and their incredible greenery enhanced the beauty of the surroundings. The umbrella-like tree canopy was what I cherished most. Seeing the trees’ reflections in the water was so lovely.

At Ratargul Swamp Forest, the water depth varies depending on the season. Winter is typically a time when nature loses its true beauty and becomes drier. So the monsoon season is the ideal time to visit the swamp forest. Don’t miss it.

Excitements in Boat Rides:
Boating at Ratargul Swamp Forest can be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. While enjoying the boat ride, it was nice to chat with the boatman (Jaynal). The echo of the water, while the boatman was rowing, was soothing to me. The entire environment is very different, adventurous, and beautiful. I also discovered that there are only a few places in this forest that can be explored and enjoyed climbing a tree from the boat. Boating is forbidden in many places.

If only I could explore the entire forest and go farther! One Tower offers a vantage point from which to see the forest from above. There is also a lot of local or Deshi fish. On the way back, we discovered some locals offer and sell fresh fish to the travellers.
