Overview:
The Hum Hum Waterfall is located in the Razkandi Reserve Forest in the Moulvibazar District. It was discovered in the year 2009. In actuality, it’s a place where you can experience true adventure. The drop is anywhere from 135 to 160 feet high. It would be best to visit this location during the rainy season to fully appreciate the fall’s unending beauty. It is astonishing that the majority of Bangladeshis are unaware of the fall. From Dhaka to Sreemangal, you can take a bus or train. There are some hotels and the next step is to travel to Kolabagan where you must hire a vehicle to reach Kolabagan Slum.

The most important thing is that you have to leave early—around 5 or 6 am. A razor, a beam, dry food, clean water, saline, glycogen, and fast aid must all be carried by everyone. There are many guides available today who can assist tourists in getting to Hum Hum. Consider taking several bamboo sticks with you from Kolabagan in order to use them as support throughout the journey. The tourist must descend into a natural fountain (referred to as chhara or nala locally), where they must walk through water, after about 30 minutes of walking this water’s height will occasionally change from lower leg to thigh level.

How to get there:
It takes 3–4 hours to walk through the jungle and muddy paths to get to Hum Hum Waterfall. You can undoubtedly find the countless forms of beauty that God created when you travel through the jungle. The worst part is that you can’t get away from the leeches that are eagerly waiting for you there. Hum Hum Fall can be reached in two different ways. Whichever is best to follow will be suggested by the guide.

While trekking, you’ll come across the water- and stone-filled Jhiri Path. The path must be navigated carefully. Please don’t take too long admiring the waterfall’s beauty or taking a bath because you will have to work very hard if it gets dark. Although, it is safer but could be hectic!

Moulvibazar District:
Only a direct bus from Dhaka can get you to Moulvibazar. You must exit the train at Sreemangal station if you intend to travel by train. Then, in order to get to Moulvibazar, you must take a local bus or a CNG. If you want to take a direct bus to Moulvibazar instead of flying there, you must first travel to Sylhet.
